For those of you who don't know, reborning is the art of creating realistic one-of a kind baby dolls from disassembled play dolls, collector’s dolls, or reborn kits. Many different techniques and mediums are used by different artists around the world, and each produce endlessly diverse results. The process of reborning is long and varies from artist to artist. Many different types of paints and other materials are used; I personally use Genesis Heat-Set Paints on my babies because the results they produce are permanent and never chip or fade. Over time I have developed my own style and technique and am confident that my results are high-quality.
